Some much needed general housekeeping.

We’re well in to 2020 now and it’s time to get things rolling! This post will give some updates to what’s been going on, as well as a look into some of the great activities planned for this year.

The WCLV has been hosting a series of TapTalks at local breweries these past few months and it has been quite the success! Attendees have been treated to fine local beer while being able to enjoy a presentation on the health and history of the watershed. Haven’t been able to make it to one? No worries! There are still a few left in the series, and after a short summer break they’ll be back up and running again in September. The next one is at Eight Oaks Farm Distillery on March 5th at 6:30PM. The topic of the evening will be Coldwater Fisheries. Join us if you can!

The BHCWA meeting place has been officially moved to the Tri-Boro Sportsmen Club in Northampton on every third Thursday of the month. The address is 2110 Canal Street Northampton PA 18067. Join us for a round of drinks and some pretty great cheesesteaks while we hold our meetings.

On April 3rd, the BHCWA is hosting a Reptile Presentation featuring Brad Kunsman and his scaly menagerie at the Tri-Boro. The event will start at 5PM and – while donations are appreciated – attendance is free! Bring the family and get up close and personal to learn about various reptiles and amphibians.

On April 18th, the WCLV is hosting a Watershed Movie and Gourmet Popcorn Day at the Roxy. How fun does that sound! Beginning at noon, join us for a few hours of educational watershed films and delicious popcorn at a local landmark.

There are many more exciting events coming up in the future! They will be highlighted here as well as on the Facebook page, so keep an eye out for anything new. We hope to see you soon! And if you have any questions, feel free to contact us through the link provided on the home page.
